Dr Theng Lew qualified as a doctor at the University of Nottingham. She completed her dermatology higher specialist training at major teaching hospitals in London and in the West Midlands (including rotations at a tertiary skin cancer referral centre and Birmingham Children's Hospital). She currently holds a substantive NHS consultant post at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr Lew is experienced in all aspects of dermatology, including inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis; acne, skin cancer, nail and hair disorders and benign skin lesions. She is highly competent at performing skin surgery for thr removal of both cancers and non-cancerous lesions.

Dr Lew also has a special interest in treating children with skin conditions and runs the paediatric dermatology service in her NHS role. She understands the importance of undertaking a holistic and patient-centred approach in the management of dermatological conditions. 

Dr Lew is also actively involved in education and training, including supervision of GP trainees and GPs with a special interest in dermatology. She has publications in peer-reviewed journals and has presented extensively in both national and international conferences.
